THE STORY

Emilio Areas is a Miami-based photographer,videographer, & FAA licensed drone pilot. He discovered his passion for film & photography shortly after graduating college in Toledo, Ohio. As a result, he self-taught in the technical & aesthetic fundamentals of filming & photography creating a unique visual signature unconfined by the constraints of traditional classroom-learning. His upbringing in multiple environments - from the warm & saturated views of Miami to the Art Deco architecture & snow of Toledo & Detroit - contributes to his unique & broad palette.

Emilio's work includes many visuals with a handful of short films & a documentary - some of which were selected & screened in film festivals & featured in local news. He enjoys photography as a hobby but is always open to collaborations and commissioned work.
